Is Alien Life Already on Earth? The Truth About Martian Microbes and Panspermia

Is it possible there could be life on this planet that doesn't originate from here? Yes by that I mean ALIEN LIFE! This really does depend on what one means by life. Does microscopic life count as life? If you answer yes to this question then microscopic life from elsewhere has already been found. Rocks have been found that travel from planet to planet. Bacteria has been found on rocks that originated on Mars. These rocks get ejected when Mars gets hit by a large asteroid from the asteroid belt, with such force the ejected rock has ESCAPE VELOCITY to leave Mars's thin atmosphere. The escaping rock or rocks then travels through the solar system until getting caught by a planet's gravity. In some cases Earth. I, like many other people, don't really consider microscopic life to be life. So what is life? I would argue most people mean intelligent life. No rock solid (no pun intended) evidence of intelligent life has ever been found. Some people though, are so hellbent ...

Curiosity as the Driving Force of Stories

Curiosity is one of the most powerful forces behind any story. Regardless of format or length, when something raises a question in the viewer’s mind, the desire to keep watching is activated — to understand, to discover what lies beyond. Many of the stories we remember don’t begin with long explanations, but with something slightly out of place. A strange object, an unusual situation, a small decision that feels important. Curiosity is born at that exact moment, when normality is interrupted. In cinema and visual storytelling, this technique has been used for decades. Not everything needs to be shown or explained. In fact, when a story leaves space for interpretation, the viewer fills in the gaps with their imagination, creating a much deeper level of engagement. Curiosity doesn’t just hold attention — it turns the audience into an active participant. Mysterious objects are a classic way to trigger this effect. Boxes, locked doors, letters, old books… Simple elements, yet incredibl...

Space Travel vs Science Fiction: Why Intergalactic Colonies Will Never Happen

Why do people have such trouble separating fact from fiction? I've lost count of the amount of times I've read on various social media sites someone writing about us humans leaving our galaxy (Milky Way) and establishing colonies in Andromeda, one of our neighbouring galaxies. According to those that really know about this. Andromeda is 2.2 million light years away. Most of you understand what this means but for the few of you who don't it means even if we were able to travel at light speed (which is 100% impossible for solid matter) it would still take 2.2 million years to get to Andromeda! And that's just the edge of it. This doesn't take into account we would have to find a planet suitable for human habitation. There's no way we could discover this planet from Earth, it's too far away. We have not even discovered life elsewhere in our own galaxy of over 100 billion planets, which is only half the size of Andromeda. How many generations of us would co...

The Truth About Weight Loss: Common Myths and Why Diets Fail

We (by that I mean the human race) seem to have an eternal obsession with losing weight and being in GOOD SHAPE whatever that is. There are 1,000,0001 different diets out there. Do any of them work? There (even after all these years) is still misinformation about losing weight. First of all the body does NOT burn fat, that notion was debunked many years ago. The body takes what it wants from the food we consume then the rest is converted into carbon dioxide and obviously exhaled through the lungs. Secondly NO food is a diet suppressant despite what so called experts and dietitians alike may say. Infact no such food exists or everyone would know about it. Any such discovery would be a huge news story the world over as soon as it was discovered. Food manufacturers would make thousands of tons, if not millions of whatever the product was a day and there would be no overweight people. And no need for dangerous surgical procedures like the fitting of gastric bands. If someone is overw...

AI Filmmaking vs Unreal Engine: Why AI Tools Changed Everything

During the lockdown of 2020 I started to take an interest in ANIMATION development. I don't know why because I've never shown an interest in this field before. The idea was I would make short films and perhaps put them on youtube and or elsewhere. I sought out then spent some time studying the most popular, which seemed to be Blender, Maya and Unreal Engine plus their many versions. What did become apparent about all of these tools is (especially from a filmmaking point of view) none of them could be used without outside help. I can't remember following a youtube tutorial where the tutor didn't use one of the above, let's say Unreal Engine, then halfway through take the project to Blender to do something or other then go back to Unreal Engine. I became increasingly frustrated with this approach. After I finished studying I decided on Unreal Engine purely because Maya, although quite useful, priced themselves out of the market for small independent filmmakers and B...

Are Dating Sites Really Legit? A Real Look at Fake Profiles and Online Dating Scams

Are there any genuine dating sites out there on the internet? I ask this because someone at my place of work got scammed for a 4 figure sum. I used to use dating sites a lot in the past but didn't let on to my colleague. Have you ever noticed on these website's adverts there's always a picture of an extremely attractive smiling woman or man? They never look like the average person, whatever that is. This is the dating site's fake hook which they use to reel unsuspecting people in. The truth is that woman (or man) are not on that site and very few if any of the people on that site will look anything like them. The dating websites want to attract people. The more people they have on their books the more money they make through subscriptions and possibly advertising. Someone will not subscribe to a dating site that only has 150 - 200 ordinary looking members, which is a lot closer to the truth than any dating sites will admit to but if you go to a site and read somet...
